Online training wasn’t a priority on the 24th and 25th March?
Skills Shop was busy preparing to deliver essential skills to more staff and then the coronavirus pandemic hit.
Below are two stories on how we helped our clients to gain confidence from comfort of their homes during lockdown.
Back in January, Paula from the BBO project got in touch and asked Skills Shop to provide a half day workshop in Kendal on 25th Match to help staff and service uses manage conflict.
Last month I rang Paula to explain that within 2 1/2 weeks of lockdown, Skills Shop had launched it’s e-learning portal
allowing staff to continue developing their skills and confidence online.
By taking advantage of our group licensing
, Paula emailed the students details over and we created their learning group so they could all enrol on the course together.
On 24th March, Alastair was looking forward to welcoming Skills Shop back to their premises in Liverpool so we could train his team to become first aiders for mental health.
I rang Alastair to explain that they could access the training online at no additional cost.
Like Paula, Alastair emailed over the staff details and we set up the group license.

- Download your course certificate upon successful completion of the course.
Paula from the BBO project was so impressed with the training and the e-learning platform that they have now commissioned further online training in:
